Jonas Brandt, researcher

Jonas Brandt works as a researcher / investigator in the information and analysis department within the business area Risk Management. The tasks include daily search and retrieval of information as well as analysis of the same in connection with various forms of background checks. This may, for example, apply to inspections prior to employment at various levels, company investigations, threat and risk analyzes and other investigations. The latter may, for example, be investigations in areas such as trademark infringement.

An ordinary day largely consists of structured routines and processes. Something that is of great importance to ensure quality and delivery security as the influx of assignments is often high. At the same time, it is important to be flexible and able to quickly change focus as matters of an acute nature may come in. This can, for example, be a direct threat to one of our customers, where we must quickly form an opinion about the situation and come up with relevant and well-thought-out advice.

Before joining the security industry, Jonas worked as a journalist for more than 15 years. Mainly with a focus on crime and forensic journalism. The roles are very similar because they use basically the same sources and working methods.
